Tips:

 - It is immune to Flash Bombs and Shock Traps

 - Very weak to shot damage at the head and tail

 - Breaking the head crystal prevents its flash attack!

 - When low on death, it feigns death. You can get extra carves at this point, but it will thrash about after a few seconds, dealing a fair bit of damage.

 - If unsure whether it's dead or not, see if you can walk through it - you can walk through a dead Gypceros, but not through one feigning death.
