Weakest spots:

Head > Wing [cutting]

Head > Neck / Belly > Hind Legs / Wing [impact]

Head > Front Legs [shot]

 

Breakables:

Horns, Wings, Tail [cut]

 

Tips:

 - Cutting the horn or cutting the tail stops the camouflage effect

 - When invisible, it takes more elemental damage but less physical damage

 - A sonic bomb used just before an attack will make Chameleos visible for up to a minute and may generate a shiny drop.

 - Using a smoke bomb may temporarily may it visible

 - A dung bomb allows you to track the stench cloud (the same works for a felvine bomb)

 - Watch out for the tongue, it might steal an item
