Weakest to Dragon / Thunder

[Thunder is a little better on the back legs, Dragon a bit better on the back and front legs. When enraged, the back legs take less Thunder damage and the head more Dragon damage]

 

Weakest spots:

Head > Neck > Belly > Front Legs [Normal]

Head > Belly > Back [Enraged]

 

Breakables:

Tusks, Chest, Back spikes, Front Leg Claws, Tail [cut]

 

Tips:

 - Always bring Adamant Seeds - Akantor can halve your defense. If you see a Def Down status by your name, eat Adamant Seeds to cure it!

 - In previous generations, it is LESS susceptible to Dragon damage when enraged

 - Wind Tunnel attack does a lot of damage even if you are blocking.

 - Throwing a Sonic Bomb into Akantor's mouth before it uses its wind blast will stun it and cause it to drop a shiny. It is immune to sonic bombs when enraged.

 - Flash Bombs will stun Akantor for a few seconds, and can be chained one after another to give good openings in a group
